The Scorch Trials # 3 blog

The main character's are still Thomas and Teresa and she is still missing. The other gladers who are still alive are infected with the flare and Thomas is as well. The flare causes people to go insane, infect, and kill other who are not infected. For some reason two people from Wicked saved Thomas when he was shot by a bullet and cured him of the flare. What has happened so far is that Thomas met this girl who was also infected with the flare but neither of them were completely crazy yet. They were attacked by cranks. Cranks are people who have been taken over by the flare. This is happening in the future. They do not know what day it is but about a month has passed. The gladers and the new people they met are at town 3-4 miles from safe heaven. This happened because Wicked was trying to test all the gladers that were smart. But if the disease control center did not release the flare then they would have gone back to their own families. This happened because the flare was released and Wicked was trying to finish the test on the gladers but they had to cut it short because of the flare and made the scorching trials, and those are on the scorching trails.

The main conflict of the story right now is group B the people in the other maze. That is in an unknown location, they are taking Thomas somewhere. Teresa is leading them and Thomas ends up fighting her. So the conflict was a man VS man which Thomas had gotten beaten up. Then Teresa left the others that are with her. So Thomas lead them to safe heaven while running in to the gladers.  Here 's evidence "Thomas was quiet as he ate with group B and prepared to leave. Soon they started making their way through the dark pass of the mountains, heading for the safe haven that was supposed to wait on the other side. They treated him well, like one of the girls"

The Scorch Trials Book #2 of the maze runner Series

The main character in the book is Thomas, he is still alive with a some other gladers. Here's what is happening right now the gladers meet a new person after they had been rescued. Then Teresa goes missing and they are trying to figure out why. Then they have to survivor to leave the place they are safe in because there's some new thing like the griever's but not as big. One of those thing are a metal death killing ball. They are also infected by the flare and need to go thought the Scorch Trail. This happened in the future after they get out of the maze. The don't know where they are because they need to go north to a town. This happened because they escaped the maze but still have not stopped Wicked. This all started because of Wicked trying to see how smart they are but they have made terrible things.

The genre of this book is fiction because this is way in the future and impossible to happen. This book has lots of other types of things too because it's fiction. So if this book was nonfiction it would not have the crazy types of monsters they have in it. Most fiction book are books that lot of people like to read. Here poof "Three feet from his bed, blinding light. The glass broken, jagged shards leaning against crisscrossed steel bars.A man stood on the other shied gripping the bar with bloody hands. His eyes were wide and bloodshot, filled with madness. Sores and Scars covered his thin sunburn face He had no hair, only diseased splotches of what looked like greenish moss. A Vicious slit stretched across his right cheek; Thomas could see teeth through the the raw, festering wound. Pink saliva dribbled in swaying lines from the man's chin. I a crank the horror of a man yelled. I a bloody crank and then he started screaming two words over and over and over, Kill me, Kill me, Kill me"

Non fiction blog post

The person that I am reading about is Malcolm X. His real name was Malcolm Little. The X stands for the unknown when he joined the Nation of Islam (for African Americans). He was born on May 19, 1925. Here a little bit of what happened. His father was murdered, so his mom has to take care of his siblings. Then later on in his life he had gotten others to join the Nation of Islam. He learned about Rose Parks, and he met Martin Luther King Jr. He was around when Brown VS Broad of Education happened. He talked to Cassius Clay who changed his name to the World Famous Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali. This all happened from 1925 (the year he was born in) to the year he was killed in February 26, 1965. He went all over the country and to Egypt once. This happened because Malcolm wanted to have equal rights any way necessary. This means he did do violence thing but later stopped and did nonviolence things.  This all happened because of Malcolm's father's death that is why he joined the other that stand up for equal rights.

The Aha monument that I found was when Malcolm X learned how to do nonviolence from King and  the Nation of Islam. He learned this because he was wanting to use violence because he thought white people had killed his father. But the Nation of Islam and King showed him nonviolence is the key to success and it was true. It was the worst time too because JFK was killed in his lifetime he also learned that he was not giving up just like JFK. King and Malcolm were both different here poof "Martin Luther King Jr with roots deeply planted in Georgia soil, represented a more traditional approach. His was the leadership of Christianity and non-violence. Malcolm, whose father and grandfather had come from Georgia as well, also represented the black experience. Black before Malcolm, men such as Nat Tuner, Denmark Vesey, and Gabriel Prosser, had resorted to violence or threat of violence to obtain their rights.

The Maze runner blog #3

The main characters are Thomas and Alby. Here whats happening Thomas and Ably made it out of the maze alive. Alby has gotten the serum, but now he is going through the changing from the griever bite. In the keepers meeting room, Thomas was being judged. He will either be killed or stay in the glade but be put in the slammer. It happened 5 to 6 days after Thomas's arrival. The place is in the glade, the keepers meeting room, and the room Alby was in. Why this happened is because they were judging Thomas for breaking the number one rule. The also had him in prison for one day. They also thanked him for bringing Alby who was one of the ten keepers back.

The signpost that I read was a memory moment. It was when Thomas was helping the people who created the maze and Teresa was there as well. The reason he remember that is by get bit by a griever. He had to find out why they were in there so the only way to find out is get bit by a griever. Once that he woke up he remember what happen. The evidence is "Thomas felt a pinprick on his arm Warmth spread from that point throughout his body, calming him, lessening the pain. But the world still seemed to be collapsing in on itself, and he knew it world all be gone from him in just a few seconds the room spun, colors morphing into each other, churning faster and faster. It took all his effort, but he said one last thing before the darkness took him for good. Don't worry he whisperd, hoping they could hear him I did it on purpose."

The Maze Runner blog #2

The main character is Thomas and a new character is introduced his name is Max. He was bitten by one of the grievers. A griever looks like a slug that went terribly wrong in a science experiment. It has metal body parts that can kill you under thirty seconds. If you can get back to the glade you survive with the serum they made for it. After Max took the serum he wanted to kill Thomas. It was unusual that that happened. Alby saved Thomas from Max. Later the keepers who tell the runners what to do threw Max out of the glade to die. This happened in the future three to four days after Thomas arrived. Right now Thomas and Alby are trapped in the maze trying to climb up the vines to get back into the glade. This happened because Alby was injured and Thomas ran out to the maze to help him get back. But Thomas broke the number one rule never run into the maze before sunset. This happened because Alby's injury was pretty bad.

The conflict is a Man VS Man and a Man VS survival situation. Now Thomas is trying to carry Alby up the wall to get him into the glade while being attacked by a griever. The other part of the conflict is Man VS survival. Thomas needs to get back into the glade with Alby before his injuries become to great and he will die. Here evidence "He turned and face Alby still propped against the stone wall now only a mound of shadow in the darkness kneeling on the ground Thomas felt Alby's neck then searched for a pulse. Something's there he listened at his chest like Minho had done."

The Maze Runner

  The main characters name is Thomas. The other characters are side characters they are Chuck Alby, Gally and Teresa. Thomas was confused when he wake up in the metal box that goes to the Glade. The place they are in is called the Glade but they are in the middle part of the maze. This is taking place in the future in the future, but the people in the Glade only know their name and the basics to survive. They do not know what time it is or their age. They do not know why this is happing, because their memories were erased by something or someone. They think they can figure all this out by going into the Maze. The people are called runners who go out into the maze to solve the mystery of how they ended up in the maze and how they get out. Some people think they all did something wrong to end up in the maze but some say they didn't do anything to end up in the maze.

The memory moment is this book comes up a lot. The reason why it does is when Thomas first comes to the maze he remembers something about this maze but it is unclear in his head. Here is evidence "That was the only thing Thomas only thing he could remember about his life he didn't understand how this could be possible his mind functioned with out flaw trying to calculate his surrounding and predicament knowledge flooded his thoughts facts and images memories and details of the world and how it works." The second memory moment was about when someone told the runners to start running he remembers something again but it is unclear again. Here evidence "Why did he feel that so strongly and even now after what lived in the maze." The memory moments keeps popping up again and again. The third memory moment was when Teresa came in from the metal box he remembers that he was connected to her somehow, but again its unclear. Here evidence "Thomas was drowning in sea of confusion a girl he hadn't even thought about the Glade only had boys, no girls"

Newsela blog

The topic I read about in newsela was. How should the US respond to the cyber attack on Sony. The at took place on Dec.21,2014 at Sony Pictures Studios. This happened because the "The Interview" was about the plot to assassinate North Koreas leader. North Korea objected that the US should show this movie. They think that North Korea is probably behind it. the US is trying to find out who these hackers are. They probably have a small group of skilled hackers working for them.North Korea has a history of hacking and they will go after those who criticize them. The FBI is working on the Case. President Obama's people go to the movies.
